Nature adventures: check out what’s new!
Canyons, hills and forests are the backdrop for 3 exciting sports which in recent years have been widely appreciated by a great number of people, from families with children to expert sportsmen and women, that are looking for excitement.
What all these sports have in common is this sense of adventure and the unique chance they give to explore fascinating natural environments using special equipment under the guidance of expertly trained staff.
Tarzaning
The name comes from the comic book hero Tarzan, key player in numerous films known as the man who swung through the forest on vines.
There are various levels and difficulties and as it's not an extreme sport it's suitable for children too. There are in fact specially equipped routes for kids, while the more challenging routes feature rope bridges, pendulum swings, Tyrolean traverses, zip lines, hanging carts!
All you need is good balance, concentration and coordination. A trained Mountain Guide will lead you through the course.
A new way of looking at nature, from the tree tops!

Zorbing
This sport was born in the late 90s and consists in getting inside a futuristic 2.5 meter diameter PVC ball and rolling down a slope. Two people at a time roll down the hill - you'll finally understand what it's like to be a pair of socks in the washing machine!
It's an amazing and fun experience, an amusing day rolling around in nature.
This is a perfect activity for groups.

Orienteering
Orienteering started out in Scandinavia and is also called the woodland sport. Participants have to follow a set path with the only help of a compass and a precise topographical map on which the course and control points, known as "lanterns", are marked.
It's great fun and educational too.
The paths generally go through woodlands but they can also follow other natural elements such as rivers, mountains, lakesides, etc. You can also try mountain bike orienteering along the Val di Sole cycle path and even orienteering on snowshoes in winter.
All you need is sport clothing and hiking shoes.
