ShareMain sports events - Summer 2012
The sports events season begins in April-May, with the regattas on Lake Garda and the cyclying competitions.
The Giro d'Italia will arrive in pass through Trentino on 25 and 26 May, with the arrival and the departure of two stages of the event.
Val di Sole, considered the MTB Capital, will host a stage of the World Cup of the fat wheels on 2 and 3 June.
In July many football team will be in Trentino for their summer retreat: the Italian team Inter in Pinzolo in Val Rendena and the first team of Bayern Munich at Riva del Garda. Fans can attend the first training sessions of their favourite team and the many events organised in the region.
For lovers of free climbing the Rock Master at Arco, scheduled between 1 to 2 September, is not to be missed.
Fans of top class athletics will also have their own spectacle in the Palio della Quercia, which will animate the town of Rovereto on 13 September.
