The work has involved every area of the facility, and the architectural solutions, the technologies chosen and attention paid to sustainable energy have resulted in a complex where spa treatments offer a distinct, higher level of quality. The approach that guided the project was to fully exploit the health-giving properties of the three mineral sources - Antica Fonte, Nuova Fonte and Fonte Alpina - and to achieve a balance between the spa setting and the mountain landscape of the Stelvio National Park.
The quality of the treatments has been improved by introducing innovations into existing facilities and by renovating the rooms to make them more inviting and more functional. The hydrotherapy department has been upgraded with thermal mud baths, the treatments for circulatory disorders now have a phlebology parcours with a new, sophisticated, innovative design, along with a series of supplementary therapies (Kneipp stepping bath, vascular rehabilitation and whirlpool baths), and a swimming pool for water therapy in spa water is available. Inhalation therapy is given in a department with completely new equipment and new types of treatment. Total wellbeing is guaranteed in newly built wellness areas, in the fitness centre and in the recreational swimming pool. The area for massages and beauty treatments has been designed to provide a wide variety of remedies that can meet the needs of each individual guest.
