Vita Nova... Ribes Nigrum
Unique biocosmetics from “Vita Nova – Trentino Wellness”
The Valle di Vanoi valley - the green heartland of Trentino - dotted with tiny Alpine villages
Welcoming and picturesque with its porphyry-paved streets, Canal San Bovo - the chief town in the valley featuring numerous scattered hamlets - offers beautiful views of the Cauriòl and Totoga mountainpeaks.
In the nearby hamlet of Caoria you can find the Casa del Museo Etnografico del Vanoi, a rural museum displaying an exhibition on the arts and crafts of bygone times, "Arti e mestieri de na Volta". Equally attractive is the Museo della Grande Guerra sul Lagorai, the local museum dedicated to World War I.
Other hamlets, such as Zortea, Prade and Gobbera, can be used as bases for pleasant walks and tours to valle Zortei and Lake Calaita. Other interesting outdoor activities are horse-riding tours on the Eastern Trentino Horse Trail, which crosses through the area, as well as mountain-bike rides or just simple hikes, while the most authentic Vanoi experience includes kayaking and angling.
