Siror is the northmost village in the valley of Primiero, lying right at the foot of Sass Maor, peak of Pale di San Martino, in the Dolomites. The Siror area stands out for its wide open meadows and woods, from which many trails for hiking and mountain biking expand. Ronzi, Petina and Polina offer an outstanding viewpoint on the whole valley of Primiero. Siror is located in the nature reserve Parco Naturale Paneveggio Pale di San Martino. Also Siror boasts ancient origins with pride, its historic centre featuring large polygonal stone-fountains and pastoral frescoes on the facade of the houses is a little gem.Not to be missed, the traditional Christmas markets in the Christmas season as well as the Gran Festa del Desmontegar in the late summer, a distinctive parade gathered in Siror then moving on to the other villages in the valley of Primiero.

The northenmost of the six villages included in Primiero district, Siror is perched on the slopes of Sass Maor, one of the peaks of the Pale di San Martino group.
