Terme di Comano - Dolomiti di Brenta

The Terme di Comano are found between Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. Here, visitors can enjoy a restful holiday while regenerating themselves in close communion with its strikingly verdant landscapes.

Renowned for the therapeutic virtues of its thermal waters, the area includes three plateaux: the Banale, the Bleggio and the Lomaso. With its central position, the Terme di Comano are the perfect place to pamper the body and detoxify the mind. The spa is immersed in a centuries-old park and is particularly focused on families and their needs and offers a special children's programme called Comano Junior.

Traditional rural activities are still handed down from one generation to the next in the ancient towns which dot these plateaux. They are the Villaggi Natura (Nature Villages), with their characteristic stone and wood architecture, farm houses, and frescoed churches. Together with the Castle of Stenico, the Fiavé lake-dwellings, the Ecomuseo della Judicaria - which unfolds along a series of themed parks - they tell the tale of its fascinating history while bringing it back to life.

The area is a Slow Food Site, which safeguards local flavours such as the ciuìga - traditional salami made with white turnips - as well as organic vegetables, walnuts, mountain honeys and the area's unique dairy products.

A number of hiking and mountain biking itineraries are also available to keep visitors fit, meandering amongst the area's towns, castles, farms, mountain dairies and alpine refuges. Fishing, free climbing, a swimming pool, tennis and minigolf can also be enjoyed here.
