Grape clusters of love

Tastings in the wineries among the heroic vines of Trentino

When the harvest is over, the wineries and winemakers welcome you throughout the year to their cellars, and allow you to get closer - with all 5 senses - to the world of wine and its fascinating stories.

So don't miss the opportunity to meet the producers of Trentino wines right there where the work ferments after the harvest, as they welcome and taste the new vintage. You will get to know stories of life, of families and generations, of choices that have led to triumphs or setbacks, and all with a glance towards those vineyards that have heroically year after year produce grape clusters of love.

We have selected some wine, grappa and even cider tastings, always accompanied by the gastronomic specialities of the territory.

Tastings at Palazzo Roccabruna

A point of reference for discovering the quality products of Trentino, Palazzo Roccabruna is a wonderful Renaissance palace located in the centre of Trento. Many popular events are held at this location, among which are wine tastings hosted by the best local wineries. Since September 2007 the palace has also been home to the Provincial Enoteca of Trentino: in its rooms you can admire a splendid historical collection of over 600 Trentino wine labels from the 1940s to the 1980s, and taste Trentino wines paired with our traditional food and wine products.

Maso Loera

A glass of wine 650 metres above sea level, in the Alpine setting of Val Rendena: visiting Maso Loera means discovering the story of Paolo and Roberta, companions in life and work, and of their organic wine, among which the “Lena”, a white wine produced from Solaris grapes, stands out thanks to its intense flavour. If you are wondering why it was given that name, ask them, and they will tell you how much commitment and perseverance are needed to produce wine at high altitude.

Authentic experiences

These are the Wine&Grappa Experience you can enjoy while visiting the Avisian hills and Piana Rotaliana, the undisputed land of red Teroldego, fine sparkling wines and still wines full of history. The range of proposals is wide and surprising; it includes unusual and perhaps unconventional and intriguing wine experiences! One thing is certain: whatever itinerary your choice, you will visit a cellar and get to know winegrowers and wines of this splendid territory.

Weekend in the cellar

Every weekend the cellars and distilleries of the Trentino Wine and Flavours Trail open their doors to let you discover the secrets of their labels. Tastings and guided tours await you to enter the heart of the territory of each production and to enjoy a direct experience with winemakers and producers. All you have to do is to plan your visit!

From the vineyard to the glass

An underground winery surrounded by over 600 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of Monte Baldo, the garden of Italy, and Val di Gresta, the organic orchard of Trentino. We are in Vallagarina in the Mori Colli Zugna winery where you can experience a guided tasting of some labels produced from excellent Trentino vines such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Lagrein.

Tasting the 5 senses

In Nogaredo, don't miss the opportunity to take a journey through stills, family stories and pure distilled pleasure with a guided tour inside one of the most historic distilleries in Trentino. The Marzadro family will accompany you inside its wineries for a tasting of grappas accompanied by the exquisite Ciocomiti chocolate.

Visit Cantina Cenci with tasting

In 2016 Cinzia and Valentino Cenci made a bet and took over the family wine estate to start producing the first sparkling wines using the classic method of Bassa Valsugana. On Saturday mornings, they take you through their vineyards, the winery and guide you in a tasting of their various wines accompanied by local gastronomic products.

From the apple tree to glass

Nestled within the Nave San Rocco countryside, where apples have been grown since 1970, a historic farm has re-started crafting a drink with very ancient origins: cider. Here you can learn all about the process from apple orchard to artisanal cider, with a tasting to finish!

Sleeping in the cellar

We could not leave out this opportunity. By staying in one of the Trentino wineries that offer hospitality services, you can intensify the immersive experience in the world of local wines. Colourful vines and the warm shades of seasonal colors will greet you in the morning, and you can indulge in a walk in the fields in the early morning, to hear the leaves crunch under your feet and smell the scent of autumn.
