A day walking in the mountains

5 excursions of medium difficulty, for those who already have some experience

It is evening, you are having dinner with friends and thinking about the mountain tour you will afford together the next day. As always, it is not easy to find an itinerary that suits everyone, both in terms of fitness level and personal preferences. However, if you are prepared enough and plan to try a more or less demanding hiking trail in the Trentino mountains, this article may be useful!

In fact, we propose 5 medium-difficulty excursions lasting no more than one day, if not less, provided that you are well trained.

What matters is to accurately estimate the departure time, in order to complete your day trip without hitches or delays. And, why not, also to ensure that you arrive at the mountain hut at the ideal time to have a quick and simple lunch before continuing on.

At this point, all you have to do is prepare your backpack, put on your boots and go!

Before setting out on an excursion at altitude, plan your trip with care. If you are inexperienced or you intend to tackle a route graded as technically difficult, then consult an alpine or mountain guide. You should also contact the refuge warden in the area you’ll be visiting for the latest weather information and to discuss whether your route is advisable. Take prudent precautions, wear suitable clothing for your route, and remember to act responsibly in the mountains at all times.

Cima d’Ezze Trekking - the New “Delio Pace” trail

The new Delio Pace trail, in the heart of the wild Lagorai chain, partially includes the old military WW I walkways that cross the forks and impervious ridges of Cima d’Ezze. The route (12 km length and 1000 m in altitude) is not particularly challenging, though it includes some rather exposed sections that require a steady foot and are not recommended for vertigo-prone guests.
