The Quality Park Club in winter - Activities
In winter the landscape is cloaked in the magical white mantle of snow and the environment is illuminated by the play of lights of the sun. Yet nature only sleeps on the surface and the great number of animals in the Park - from the golden eagle to the wood grouse, from the marmots to the rock goats and the brown bear - reveal their presence by leaving clear tracks in the snow.
This is the enchanting nature of the Park in winter where, far from the hustle of the pistes, you can commune with nature.
Staying in one of the Quality Park Club hotels that have made environmental sensitivity and sustainability a way of life, you can enjoy an offer called "not only skiing" to discover emotions, places and unforgettable flavours:
* a snowshoe outing with the mountain guides, experts and lovers of the mountains in the snow-covered woods to discover the tracks of the inhabitants, the sounds and colours of this corner of absolute nature;
* a traditional dinner in a refuge;
* escursions on sleges drawn by huskies or horses;
* in its weekly calendar every hotel offers a tasting of local products that reveals the secrets of the production process and some tasty recipes.
The winter season 2010-2011 also features a new way of getting to know and support the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
Staying in one of our hotels you contribute to the project safeguarding the brown bear: 1€ of your holiday will be given to this particular initiative!
You will receive the postcard "The Friend of the Bear" together with the Park magazine. Then a newsletter will keep you constantly updated on the developments of the project and reveal the secrets of this fascinating and majestic animal.
