Trentino Marketing S.p.A. of Trento, Via Giandomenico Romagnosi 11 (Tax code, VAT and Company Registration in Trento no. 01813070222 - fully paid share capital € 650,000.00), is directed and co-ordinated by the Autonomous Province of Trento on behalf of which it handles the promotion of the territory and of tourism in Trentino.
Trentino Marketing S.p.A was established under provincial law no. 8 of 11 June 2002, containing the "Regulation of the promotion of tourism in the Province of Trento" and is jointly owned by the Autonomous Province of Trento which has a 60% share of the company's capital and the Trento Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture which has the remaining 40% share.
Visittrentino.it (the "Site") is the Autonomous Province of Trento's tourism web portal for providing institutional information, this service being integrated with the component responsible for promoting and marketing the province's tourist facilities.
The Autonomous Province of Trento has devolved the tasks of promotion and marketing via the Internet to Trentino Marketing S.p.A, as well as management of the new Trentino Booking System.
The Trentino Booking System is a technological interface between the user and accommodation providers in Trentino: it is a neutral virtual marketplace where the user can find information, get in touch with tour operators or with the Trentino Booking Centre, or make reservations directly with accommodation providers in the database used by the System.
Intellectual and industrial property rights
All Site content is protected and safeguarded by current regulations governing copyright and industrial property rights.
By way of example, but by no means exhaustive, Site content is to be understood as:
texts, photographs, videos, databases, layouts, audio files, any type of graphics and/or text in general.
Unless expressly authorised, any type of text mining or reuse of the Site content is prohibited, as are all other activities that may be detrimental to the legitimate interests of the authors and rightsholders of the intellectual properties that may be accessed therein.
The contents of the Site may not, therefore, be copied and/or reproduced in whole or in part without the express permission of Trentino Marketing S.p.A, except and exclusively for personal or educational purposes.
The trademark "Trentino", all trademarks appearing on the Site's pages (including relative logos), domain names and other distinctive signs are the exclusive legal property of Trentino Marketing S.p.A and are therefore protected by current legislation concerning industrial property.
Reproduction of them in any form or manner is therefore strictly forbidden without the express written authorisation of Trentino Marketing S.p.A, and it is equally forbidden to register the "Trentino" trademark in any Top Level Domain whatsoever.
It should be noted that the Site's pages may contain brand names, domain names, company names or other signs owned by third parties with whom Trentino S.p.A. has various types of agreement and who have authorised Trentino Marketing S.p.A to use them on the Site: any reproduction or other use is prohibited.
Downloading of material from the Site is permitted only if expressly authorised by apposite indication on the web page; such authorisation is only applicable for personal and non-commercial use of the downloaded material, any other form of use being strictly prohibited.
Trentino Marketing S.p.A. informs users that it is absolutely forbidden to make use of any distinctive sign owned by Trentino Marketing S.p.A, such as metatags and/or any html command, which, while enabling the display or formatting of a given command, in any case give instructions to electronic agents or search engines increasing the rankings of sites which do not lead back to Trentino Marketing S.p.A.
In this regard it should be noted that any violation of what is laid down in this article constitutes conduct which is also punishable under the law of unfair competition, governed by the relevant regulations in force.

Browsing the website http://www.visittrentino.it may incur the processing of data of identified or identifiable users. The personal data processing Controller is the Autonomous Province of Trento. Trentino Marketing S.p.A has been appointed External Processing Manager ("Manager"), in accordance with art. 13ter of Decree by the President of the Province no. 18-139/Leg of 6 August 2003.
Types of data processed and processing aims
• Navigation Data.
While browsing the site http://www.visittrentino.it computer systems and software procedures that govern the operation of the site collect certain personal data, transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Examples of this type of data are IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by those who log on to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other information about the user's operating system and computer environment.
Although the above-mentioned data may not on their own lead to identified users, they may allow users to whom they refer to be identified through reprocessing with data held by third parties.
They are, however, used by Trentino Marketing S.p.A for the sole purpose of compiling anonymous statistics regarding consultation of the site and to monitor its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after compilation. These data may also be used to identify responsibility in potential cases of computer crimes against the site. Aside from these applications, as a rule they are held no longer than seven days.
• Data voluntarily supplied by the user.
Users' personal data may be voluntarily supplied when they send emails to addresses listed on the site or when they send electronic forms lodged on the site.
When an email is sent it allows Trentino Marketing S.p.A to collect the sender's email address, required for a reply to the request, and any other personal data contained in the communication. Personal data collected in this way will be used by Trentino Marketing SpA for the sole purpose of responding to the email received and for any subsequent related communications.
The sending of electronic forms requesting information allows Trentino Marketing S.p.A to collect the personal data inserted in the form. Personal data collected in this way will be used by Trentino Marketing SpA for the sole purpose of confirming the request received and for any subsequent related communications.
The site http://www.visittrentino.it uses only c.d. session cookies which are not permanently stored on the user's computer and are deleted when the browser is closed. The use of such cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server), which are necessary to allow safe and efficient navigation of the website and obviate the need for other informatic techniques which may prejudice the confidentiality of browsing users. These cookies do not allow personal data that may identify the user to be collected.
Optional supply of data
Apart from what has been specified for navigation data, the user is free to supply personal data contained in the request forms. Omission of data may mean the request cannot be responded to.
Personal data are processed manually and with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to carry out the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific security measures are taken to prevent loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
Rights of interested parties
Under art. 7 of Leg. Decree 196/2003 (and subsequent amendments), users whose personal data have been collected have the right to obtain at any time confirmation of the existence or otherwise of these data and to know their content and origin, and also to check their accuracy or request that they be completed, updated or corrected.
Under the same article, users also have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or a block on data illegally processed, and in any case to oppose, for legitimate reasons, their processing.
