Nordic skiing
A fascinating sport of ancient origin, Nordic skiing in Trentino is exceptional, both because of the area's unique landscape as well as because of its avant-garde centres. Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa
Centro del Fondo Lago di Tesero
Val di Fiemme is internationally renowned as the cross-country skiing heartland of Italy. The centre boasts 18 km of pistes with guaranteed snow, was the seat of the world championships in both 1991 and 2003. Lago di Tesero will host the World Championships again in 2013.
Passo Lavazè - Centro Fondo
The centre is a point of reference among Nordic skiers in Val di Fiemme. Its 80 km of pistes are prepared by a group of professionals while its many itineraries have been designed to meet every skiing need and desire.
Centro Fondo Alochet - San Pellegrino Pass
This fully equipped cross-country skiing centre sits among Alochet's clearings and is found right before Passo San Pellegrino in Val di Fassa. The centre is approximately 10 km away from Moena, at 1800 m on average.
Folgaria Lavarone and Luserna plateaux
Passo Coe
Passo Coe is a large tableland on the Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna plateaux, located at 1600 m. It plays host to an eponymous Centro Sci Fondo featuring a number of tracks for national and international competitions as well as every possible need.
Lavarone - Centro Fondo Millegrobbe
A cross-country skiing centre surrounded by strikingly beautiful landscapes. Millegrobbe is located at the point in which the Veneto and Trentino plateaux meet and hosts the "Millegrobbe", one of the most important international long distance cross-country skiing competitions in Europe.
San Martino di Castrozza and Primiero
Centro Fondo Passo Cereda
Enjoy top quality Nordic skiing at Passo Cereda (10 km from Fiera di Primiero), with rings of different lengths and difficulties - including a few very challenging ones - and pistes meeting both national and international racing standards.
Centro Fondo Prà delle Nasse (San Martino di Castrozza)
The cross-country skiing centre has three rings that unfold amidst the area's mountain forests and icy brooks. The centre features a simple piste for beginners, a mid-level piste on ample, sunny meadows, and a more challenging one that winds its way through a thick forest of firs.

Centro Fondo Campo Carlo Magno (Madonna di Campiglio)
The centre boasts 4 itineraries immersed within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park which meet FISI standards, are suitable for different skiing levels, and are ideal for both skating and classical techniques.

The pistes of the cross-country skiing centre of Vermiglio unfurl amidst the striking landscapes of the Val di Sole, with its conifer woods and traditional alpine farmhouses as well as its mountain ranges.
Trento Monte Bondone and Paganella Plateau
Centro Fondo Viote
The Centro del Fondo Viote gives cross-country skiers the chance to ski inside the sunny basin found at the foot of Monte Bondone's Tre Cime and is easy to reach from Trento.

The Andalo sports complex also features a cross-country skiing centre, with programmed snow-making and lighting systems, located around a small natural lake.
