Until 2010 the Altopiano della Paganella will be the "Official U.S. Men's Alpine Ski Team European Training Center". Great champions like Ted Ligety together with all the other stars and stripes athletes, the trainers and staff members, between one race and another around the world, will be based in Trentino for their training, to recuperate their physical condition, try out new equipment and also to relax and recharge their batteries for the most important competitions. The slopes of the Ski Area Paganella are among the most noted in the province as they are in an ultramodern district and privileged geographic position, being close to Austria, Germany and Switzerland, the centres of many World Cup races, and also to Verona airport. The Yankees of the Snow Circus use the wall of the Olimpionica 2 piste for their training and alternatively the Nuvola Rossa piste, which are reserved for them at pre-arranged times depending on the needs of the Americans.
