The Sellaronda Skimarathon, the ski-mountaineering competition held in the Dolomites, is at its 17th edition this year
It is a night ski-mountaineering race for teams of two members. Considering its technical characteristics, it is reserved for experts only. The winners of this race will be assigned a trophy and will qualify to participate in the "Dolomites Cup". Participating athletes will be equipped with touring skis with sealskins for the upward slopes and with front lights to brighten the course running through the main villages of the four Ladin valleys, Canazei, Selva, Corvara and Arabba, who in rotation host the start and the finish of the race. The 17th edition of the Sellaronda Skimarathon will take place on Friday, February 10th, 2012. The start and finish lines will be in Selva di Val Gardena.
