Terme di Garniga

The Terme di Garniga spas, in the village of the same name, situated on the southern side of Monte Bondone, a few kilometres from Trento and Rovereto, are an ideal destinations for an unforgettable relaxing break in a natural environment, rich in alpine vegetation and genuine hospitality. The area offers many possibilities for enthusiasts of sport, outdoor life, healthy walks and excursions .

SPA WATER PROPERTIES AND SPECIFIC THERAPEUTIC TREATMENTS:

A mixture of grasses consisting chiefly of aromatic and officinal plants such as gentian, mountain arnica, Aaron's beard, thyme, alpine dandelion, carline and pasque-flower, gathered in the meadows on Monte Bondone, Trento's mountain, at an altitude between 1200 and 1500 metres.
All these, freshly gathered, are used for the herb bath, the pride of the Terme di Garniga. Scientific studies have shown the effectiveness of phytobalneotherapy treatment for many rheumatologic pathologies, such as osteoarthrosis, chronic gout arthropathy, fibromyalgic syndrome, seronegative spondylarthritis, recurring chronic lumbar pain of the vertebral column, lumbar sciatica not in an acute stage, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscular spasms, stiffness in the joints and post-traumatic pains.


ALL THE TREATMENTS:

Patients can combine the phytobalneotherapy cycle with massophysiotherapy treatments (physio massage, Integrated Therapeutic Massage, Post-traumatic Functional Rehabilitation, Movement Education, Lympho-drainage, Trager Approach) and therapies in water (salt baths, phlebologic courses).
