Marilleva, Italy
Alternative Snowpark, situated in Marilleva 1400, can be reached from the village via the Malga Copai-Panciana gondola.
Alternative Snowpark is in the Panciana area of Marilleva 1400, at a height of 1,883 metres. This area formerly hosted a halfpipe. It takes under 7 minutes to reach the snowpark via the Malga Copai-Panciana 6-seat gondola. The area, which is entirely fenced in, is only for snowboarders and skiers with twin-tip freestyle skis. Safety helmets are compulsory.
This snowpark has an artificial snow production system, and maintenance is carried out daily.
It is 150m long and covers an area of 300sq.m. This recently built snowpark hosts freestyle competitions, meetings and festivals. The Folgarida Marilleva ski area is also easily reached from Trento via the new Dolomiti Express train.
