Starting from piazza San Martino (near the church) you follow the road leading to the Ces lifts as far as the Segheria locality, where you bear left to take the easy mule track (forest road) that enters the wood in direction of Malga Crel (path 350), reachable in about 1 hour. Here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Pale and a snack at the Malga of the same name. Continuing on the dirt road you reach path 350 climbing to Forcella di Calaita, where an easy mule track hugging the clear calm waters of the splendid Lago di Calaita, which mirrors the Pale di San Martino, takes you easily to Rifugio Miralago. Return by the same route.
