Madonna di Campiglio, Italy
The Dolomiti Nordic Walking Park in Madonna di Campiglio features 6 routes with different slopes and levels of difficulty, which set off directly from the Conca Verde - in the heart of Campiglio - and total 32 km in length.
The technical trail (0.8 km) has been fully fitted to provide an introduction to Nordic walking techniques, while the Le Grotte trail (3 km, 140 m slope) starts at the Conca Verde and goes up to Fortini along an age-old road, which used to take travellers to Campo Carlo Magno. The Giro di Campiglio (6.6 km, 210 m slope) has been designed along a traditional route around Madonna di Campiglio, while the Vallesinella trail (8.5 km, 190 m slope) takes visitors through the woods and to Vallesinella - natural gateway to the Brenta Dolomites. The Spinale (3.1 km, 130 m slope) is a striking trail, which provides hikers with wonderful views on the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella Mountain Ranges. The Fevri trail (5.3 km) leads down from Monte Spinale to Madonna di Campiglio, and on the Boch trail (4.7 km, 180 m slope) hikers experience a pleasant walk and discover local traditions by meandering through meadows and Alpine pastures of the Monte Spinale area.
