The Trentino Nature within Reach

The Adamello-Brenta and Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Parks and the Stelvio National Park cover approximately 17% of the Province of Trentino, almost a thousand square kilometres, thus contributing significantly to the integrity of the environment.

Besides focusing attention on the conservation of the wildlife, the park authorities increasingly feature environmentally sustainable tourist and educational activities.
Various resorts in Trentino, Terme di Comano, Val di Fiemme, San Martino di Castrozza, Primiero, Vanoi and the Peio and Rabbi Valleys, are particularly sensitive to the protection of the environment as their territories lie mostly in the Parks. The project called "Parks to Enjoy", dedicated to the use of the protected natural area by tourists, has been operative for some years and features:

• holidays in enchanting environments like San Lorenzo in Banale, Bellamonte, Val Canali and the Peio and Rabbi Valleys

• hotels selected according to their attention and respect for the nature around them

• entertaining environmentally orientated activities to explore the Trentino Parks

• alternative transport services, especially prearranged, which permit the guest to enjoy the activities organised by the park without having to use their car, thus reducing the emissions of CO2

• excellent holiday offers with an environmental theme
