Bondo is located in the Central Giudicarie valley, a quiet and hospitable morainal area on the watershed between the basin of Sarca and Chiese rivers and at the watersmeet of the Fiana stream with Arnò.
Its position close to the Adamello Brenta Nature Reserve, offers a wide range of hiking opportunities. From the village you can reach the Gavardina chain (Alpi di Ledro), and other peaks nearby, such as the Carè Alto (3462 m a.s.l.), Cop di Breguzzo (2997 m), Danerba (2910 m); Cima d´Arnò (2849 m) and Cima Valbona (2889 m).
Worth visiting is the Medieval Church of San Bartolomeo, which was restyled during the Baroque Age and is located in the historical town-centre.

Bondo can be reached from north and south on the Brennero state road 12 and the motorway A22 (exit Trento Center, 50 km distance from the toll gate), then on the Caffaro state road SS 237; or coming from east-west on the motorway Milano-Venice(exit Brescia east), then on the Caffaro state road SS 237.
Public transport:
There are bus services from the railway station Trento to Sarche, Terme di Comano; or coming from the other direction by train to Brescia and then by bus to Tormini-Tione.
Airplane:
The nearest airports are Catullo in Verona (90 km distance), Marco Polo in Venice (195 km), Milano Linate (245 km) and the new airport in Bolzano (60 km).
