Amidst woods and meadows, for a traditional yet modern mountain vacation
Surrounded by its enchanting woods and meadows, Caverno is a tourist destination in the Upper Val di Non valley, which is perfect for peaceful, relaxing holidays. Wonderful tours on foot, by bike and horseback as well as by car, can be enjoyed here, not to mention the number of sports available to the more dynamic visitors. The town boasts excellent sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor tennis courts, volleyball and basketball pitches.
Special mention also goes to its age-old buildings with their frescoes, double lanced windows, projections and inner courtyards, built in the rural architecture of the area. The parish church of S. Maria Maddalena (1869-1873) shows artist Giambattista Lampi's works, while the small church of SS. Fabiano and Sebastiano (9th-16th century) is decorated with precious paintings.
The feast of the Charta di Regola is also a must. It allows tourists to enjoy by-gone flavours by glimpsing into the most charming corners, porticoes and wine cellars of the town.

For the Ciaspolada (walk with ciaspole-shoes) on Epiphany, the Association Strada della Mela e dei Sapori delle Valli di Non e di Sole (The Val di Non and Val di Sole Apple and Flavour Route) organises the Pomaria d'inverno to raise awareness and provide visitors with a taste of the best local products. The rustic duel and the feast of the Charta di Regola are also a must. They allow tourists to enjoy by-gone flavours by glimpsing into the most charming corners, porticoes and wine cellars of the town.
