A bustling tourist destination featuring an array of sport facilities and accommodation

Croviana is a farm, trade and handcraft-oriented centre, which boasts a long-standing tourist tradition dating back to the 17th and 18th century, when it was a fashionable holiday destination among Trentino's and Lombardy's noble families.
The town has seen rapid development over the past ten years, in terms of both estates and tourist accommodation and sports facilities. The 16th Century Castello dei Pezzen, which later housed the Thun family, overlooks the town with its tower and corner turrets. On the other hand, the Gothic church of San Giorgio and its wooden icons date back to the 17th Century. The town also features a number of rural-noble houses, which too hark back to the 17th century.
Apart from the artistic highlights of its historical centre, Croviana also boasts the splendid, 18th century mill of Fosine, located on the banks of the River Noce. The mill now hosts several, highly active volunteer associations, and lies on the road which takes visitors to "Plazze", one of the most popular mountain destinations in lower Val di Sole, where to enjoy both country festivals and Sunday picnics shaded by larches and pines.
