Summer

A winter and summer tourist destination devoted to culture, entertainment and sports

Dimaro is located at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites, at the beginning of the Val di Meledrio valley, which takes visitors to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio.
Dimaro is an excellent winter and summer tourist destination. Its hotels are surrounded by several companies which are focussed on trade and handcraft and are organised in active associations. It also boasts new cultural and entertainment facilities, such as the Municipal Theatre. The town's worth lies both in its location, which overlooks the road leading to Campiglio, and in its age-old Toll House. Dimaro also features several evocative stone fountains and ancient churches (San Lorenzo's, dating back to the 15th century, and San Giovanni Battista's to 1751, are located in the outlying municipal district of Carciato).
Among the numerous sports tourists can practise here, some adventurous rafting on the River Noce is a must.
The traditional Alpine farmhouse of Dimaro lies on the road to Campo Carlo Magno Pass and is located right in front of the majestic peaks of the Brenta Dolomites - including the Sasso Rosso. The farmhouse's owners offer visitors the chance to taste fresh salamis, cold cuts and cheese they themselves manufacture.
