Discover the pleasure of food and wine in Trentino near the Val d'Ambiez
Dorsino is located on the outskirts of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, at the mouth of the Val d'Ambiez, and is perched on a morenic terrace created by the waters of the Sarca. The town was rebuilt several times following the fires which razed it to the ground.
Over time, wine production and manufacturing have come to play a key role in the area. The town is a must for all those who love typical Trentino food and wine and who want to savour a traditional ciuìga - cold cut made with pork and cooked white turnips.
Frescos by Cristoforo Baschenis can be admired in the 15th century church of S. Giorgio, while the ancient parish church of the Banale dedicated to the Assumption is found in Tavodo.

Dorsino can easily be reached from north and south via the Brennero state road 12 and the motorway A22 (exit Trento Center, toll gate 38km away) - state road 45/bis - state road SS 237 Brescia-Tormini - SS 241.
From east-west: motorway Milano-Venice (exit Brescia east) - state road SS 237 Brescia-Tormini - SS 421.
From Riva del Garda: state road SS 421 Riva-Ballino.
