Summer
Fai della Paganella is a fully equipped sport centre, as well as an ideal starting-point for walks and tours
Located in the heart of middle-western Trentino, at 1,030 m above sea level, Fai della Pganella features breath-taking views to be admired from the "Belvedere" over the Valle dell'Adige valley. Here ski-lifts are open during the summer season to take tourists to the top of Cima Paganella (2,125 m) as well as to see Alpine meadows and refuges.
Interesting archaeological excavations can also be visited at Doss Castel, near Fai, where findings dating back to the late Neolithic Age have been discovered. The pine forests on the plateau also offer guests a wide range of possibilities for tours on foot as well as by mountain bikes.
In both the Capannina woods and at the Belvedere a "trim trail" has been set up where you can run, jog or simply walk. This 3 km path features 21 different fitness facilities, which visitors can use for free. The town also hosts a renowned tennis centre, which has been holding youth international tennis sessions for several years now.
The Multifunctional Sport Centre in Fai della Paganella also holds summer camps for artistic gymnasts taught by Olympic champion Juri Chechi, who is also the town's celebrity spokesperson.
