Folgaria

Summer

Folgaria is the main town in the area, a busy and welcoming town offering facilities such as a cinema-cum-theatre, an ice rink, a sports hall for five-a-side football, volleyball, basketball, fitness machines, an indoor swimming pool and a lively and a town-centre teemed with shops, restaurants and bars.
Folgaria is also the base for 52 hiking and walking paths of varying lengths, and a trekking trail that crosses the line of Austro-Hungarian forts built during World War One. There is also a special 100 km mountain-bike track comprising three circuits.
Additional attractions include the nearby Nordic Walking Park tracks and an 18-hole golf course.
Folgaria features a number of sports opportunities, but it is also the ideal family-friendly destination, with kid dedicated educational and recreational activities, shows and entertainment, folklore, gastronomic events and other top initiatives catering for a wide range of interests. 

Winter

The town centre has a lively vibrant feel to it, with shops, restaurants and bars, as well as entertainment venues such as a cinema-cum-theatre, ice rink, sports hall for five-a-side football, volleyball and fitness and an indoor swimming pool. Uphill facilities are truly nearby, connected by a skibus and snow train service, which lead to the 80 km ski-runs of the Skitour dei Forti circuit. Serviced by artificial snow system facilities, it ensures a great deal of fun for all skiers, whether beginners or experts.
Near Folgaria you will also find the cross-country skiing centres of Forte Cherle and Coe pass. The former is more family-friendly, while the latter - which has been entirely restyled and is appreciated abroad too - is ideal both for learning and training, with a 35 km trail for professional competitions, training and simple entertainment.
Besides skiing, other opportunities for visitors include snowshoe hikes with the traditional "ciaspole" - as snowshoes are locally called - Nordic walking, orienteering, tobogganing. Additional facilities feature a kindargarten and a wide range of après-ski activities.
