Summer
Lases is mainly a summer holiday destination, with its lake much appreciated both by bathers and fishermen
Located on the edge of an alluvial plain on the banks of the lake bearing its name, Lases is surrounded by the high peaks of "Dos dal Pin". The town still features its age-old "comrèl-shaped" structure, with its clustered houses built in porphyry - a special volcanic stone.
Lake Lases thrives with licenced scuba divers, diving clubs and schools which offer diving classes. During the summer months, the banks of the lake are especially loved by visitors who enjoy tranquillity, while its waters are equally appreciated by fishermen for they are extremely rich in fish.
Dosso di Lona endows visitors with a wide-ranging view on the Valle di Cembra valley, the surrounding hills and Brenta Dolomites
Lona stretches out over a moranial terrace next to the Dosso bearing its name. The surrounding scenery is a magnificent combination of woodlands, water ponds and high peaks.
Its historical town-centre features the same traditional "cormèl" houses as Lases.
An iron beam stuck in the rock is a reminder of the plans to build an hydroelectric reservoir here between the First and the Second World War.
Traditional products from the area include grapes and chestnuts.
