Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and ski-mountaineering in winter on Monte Bondone
Monte Bondone is Trento's Alp. Just a few kilometres away from the city, this important skiing area can be easily reached by public transport or the skibus as well.
This tourist destination at the centre of the Valle dell'Adige valley is located at over 2,000 m above sea level on a natural terrace, allowing visitors to enjoy wonderful 360-degree views of Trentino, from the Brenta Dolomites to the Adamello.
The ski area offers tourists a wide network of ski-lifts and downhill ski-runs to be found on different sides of the mountains, in addition to an entertaining snow park, a functional cross-country skiing centre in the sunny Conca delle Viote, and a programmed snow system to provide top skiing conditions. Ski-mountaineering can also be enjoyed here, especially in the mountains surrounding the Viote.
The area is also classified as an Integral Nature Reserve. More than 2,000 species of plants and flowers from all over the world are studied and cared for in the Alpine Botanical Garden of the Viote.

By car:
follow the A 22 Autostrada del Brenenro motorway and the SS (Strada Statale) 12 dell´Abetone e del Brennero. You can also get to Trento via the SS 45 at Gardesana Occidentale if you come from Brescia. Via the Gardesana Orientale if you come from Verona, and if you come from Milan you can get to Trento via the SS 42 del Tonale e della Mendola.
From Venice the route to follow is the SS 47 della Valsugana and from Vicenza the SS 46.
To Monte Bondone:SS 45 at Gardesana Occidentale to Montevideo then in the direction of Sardagna or Sopramonte.

By train: Brennero line of the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) and Valsugana line from Venice.
Airplane:
By airplane: airports of Verona (km 90), Venice (km 153) and Milan (km 213)
