Panoramic itineraries from Caprioli Lake to Presanella during Pellizzano summer
Located in a flat area on the two banks of the Noce stream, Pellizzano stands out for its characteristic buildings featuring stone doorways. It includes the towns of Pelizzano itself, Ognano and the mountain villages of Termenago and Castello.
It provides numerous accommodation facilities and a Nordic combination race centre (in the summer ski-jumping is available here).
There is a driver-friendly road going up to 1,307 meters to Lake Caprioli, in località Fazzon neighbourhood, which is a good base for hikes on the Eastern slopes of Presanella. This artificial lake has become one of the symbols of summer hikes in Val di Sole; it offers the chance to take amazing and easy walks through the woods, at the foot of the highest peaks of the Presanella chain. The place is suitable for all age groups and offers extremely beautiful landscapes, as well as a refuge-restaurant right on the banks of the lake.

from Bologna - Verona on the A22 Brenner motorway, exit at "Trento Nord". Take the new Trento Nord-Rocchetta link road towards Lavis; take the tunnel towards SS43 Val di Non. After Cles take SS42, heading towards Passo del Tonale.
