Longtime tourist destination, Predazzo is all about culture, tradition and hospitality
Located in the north-easternmost part of the Val di Fiemme, where torrent Avisio merges with Travignolo, Predazzo is the most densely populated town in the valley.
All year round holiday location, it is extremely rich in history, culture and tradition. Predazzo is famous for its characteristic “tabià”, typical farmers' huts which in the old times animals used to be kept and people worked in. The Museo di Geologia (Geology Museum) shows the geological and mineralogical features of this Alpine site. Must-see in Predazzo: the celebrated ski-jump stadium that hosted the World Championship in 1991 and 2003 and where many events are held throughout the year and two churches in the town-center. Just a few kilometers away from Predazzo you will find Parco Naturale di Paneveggio Visitor Center, famous for its officinal botanical garden and deer-watching area. On the way to Passo Rolle there is Bellamonte at an elevation of 1372 meters. Its excellent location makes Predazzo a suitable place for hiking and mountain-biking and it also boasts a vibrant nightlife scene.
Ski and sports in the Dolomites, Predazzo features tradition and culture too
