Located on the slopes of Sass Maor, in rural and peaceful surroundings
The northenmost of the six villages included in Primiero district, Siror is perched on the slopes of Sass Maor, one of the peaks of the Pale di San Martino group. The village is surrounded by wide fields and woods, which are criss-crossed by dozens of paths for easy walks. From Ronzi, Polina and Petina you can admire an extraordinary view of the valley of Primiero.
Siròr is located inside the Parco Naturale Paneveggio Pale di San Martino nature reserve.
Siror too can boast ancient origins, and prides itself on a historic centre featuring big polygonal stone fountains and rural frescoes on the houses' façade. Not to be missed, at Christmas time, the typical Christmas markets, and, at the end of summer, the Gran festa del desmontegar, a special parade gathered in Siror before moving on to the other Primiero villages.

Car:
The shortest way to get to the Primiero valley from Trento is along the SS 47 della Valsugana to Primolano and then in the direction of Fiera di Primiero along SS 50 Rolle pass; 100 km approx. to Siror near Fiera diPrimiero. Or take the turn from Borgo Valsugana towards Tesino (SP 78) over the Passo Brocon
From Bolzano you drive down to Ora and then take SS 48 for the Valle di Fiemme valley and over the Rolle pass (1984 m a.s.l. - SS 50). The connection with the Agordino is over the Cereda pass (SS 347).
Public transport:
You can get to Trento FS station and then continue along the Trento-Venice line getting off at Borgo Valsugana. Arriving from Belluno with the Padova-Calalzo line you get off at Feltre. Both stations are connected to Siror (Fiera di Primiero) with a bus service.
Airplane:
The nearest airports are Verona Catullo at 90 km, Venice Marco Polo at 195 km, Milan Linate 245 km and the new airport of Bolzano is at 60 km.
