Altopiano di Brentonico: skiing for everyone in an easy to reach ski area
San Valentino, together with Polsa, is the venue for skiers on the Brentonico plateau, since it is easily reached via the ‘Rovereto Sud' exit off the A22 Brenner highway.
It offers a wonderful carousel of slopes connecting with those of Polsa. They are wide, fun, equally suitable for the safe and quick learning of basic skiing techniques, for the honing of already acquired skills or for athlete training.
Accommodation is offered by a varied range of hotels, apartment houses or private homes as well as a by a well organized camping site open also during the winter season.
Along the road that leads to San Valentino Pass, travellers can still see the rock bastions used during WWI as military shelter and observatory.

Car:
San Valentino can easily be reached from north and south on the Brennero state road A22 (exit Rovereto Sud, 12 km distance from the gate toll) and then on the state road SS 240 to Mori and on the SP 3 Monte Baldo.
Public transport:
To the railway station FS Rovereto, from there by bus.
Airplane:
The nearest airports are Verona Catullo (90 km distance), Venice Marco Polo (195 km), Milan Linate (245 km) and the new airport in Bolzano (60 km).
