Summer
Relax, honey, chestnuts and delicious apples
Stretching on a moraine terrace on the left-hand side slope of the Valsugana valley, Spera is the ideal spot to spend a relaxing holiday. This small town is renowned for its chestnuts, which used to be sought after even by the Court of Vienna. The sunny position it enjoys also favours apple and berry growing, as well honey manufacturing.
In terms of natural surroundings, a stroll among the age-old chestnut trees of the Trodo dei Salti at Congo waterfalls is a must. During the holiday season at the end of the year, tourists are invited to admire the Nativity-scene route at Christmas time, the age-old Church of Santa Apollonia and the frescoes in the Chiesa Maggiore, as well as visit Primalunetta and its chapel of San Bortolo.
