Excursions to discover the valley of Terragnolo
Terragnolo is a fluvio-glacial valley set deeply into the calcareous rocks formed by the erosion of the stream called Leno di Terragnolo. There are over thirty hamlets consisting of groups of houses and traditional mountain farmhouses (masi), scattered throughout the valley on the steep slopes to the right, on short morainic terraces.
The area offers visitors excursions on foot and on mountain bikes in its surrounding forests that reach up to the Folgaria and Lavarone plateaux. The beautiful trails lead up towards Mount Maggio and Mount Pasubio.
Worth a visit is the recently restored Venetian saw-mill, that offers the nearby guest house and an especially equipped scout camp. A traditional maso equipped for hospitality, a sports field, a gymnasium, a multipurpose structure, a playground, holiday apartments complete the offer together with all of the entertainment and cultural activities that will introduce visitors to the land and to the local community.
