A town opening onto the Val di Sole, Pejo and Rabbi valleys, with a beautiful Capuchin Convent
Terzolas is located in the lower Val di Sole, on a wide, slightly down-sloping glacial terrace, at the foot of the Lac peak (2439 m a.s.l.) in an area very much appreciated by the Medieval feudatories living in the town of Toracia during the Sixteenth century. The inhabited centre is placed in a sunny spot surrounded by apple orchards. Nowadays the town is an important farming centre with a large apple production connected with the Consorzio Melinda (Melinda Farmers' Cooperative).
Terzolas also features a sturdy tradition in cheese manufacturing.
Documented earlier than 1213, the parish church is dedicated to St. Nicolò. The Convento dei Cappuccini (Convent of the Capuchin Monks) is worthy of note. It was built in 1896 and has become the pastoral, cultural and youth centre for the whole valley.
The town offers numerous paths for trekking and horseback riding, and there is also a long bike path starting from Mostizzolo and crossing the entire Val di Sole, running along the Noce stream - where you can also rafting and canoeing.
Being so close to important ski areas such as Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, Pejo and Passo Tonale, the town is also a strategic winter resort.

from Bologna - Verona on the A22 Brenner motorway, exit at "Trento Nord". Take the new Trento Nord-Rocchetta link road towards Lavis; take the tunnel towards SS43 Val di Non. After Cles take SS42, heading towards Passo del Tonale.
