Located inside the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, accessible from mysterious Val San Valentino
The first village of Rendena to be found after Tione, Villa was famous for its traditional handcraft trade of wooden clogs and for its state school of lace. Villa Rendena supported these activities with a forest and sheep-farming oriented economy, witnessed by the numerous mountain huts scattered on the slopes of Valle San Valentino. From here you can reach the falls springing from Rio Bedù stream, one of the most beautiful accesses to the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
Numerous are the trails for tours either on foot or by bike. The beautiful Rendena bike-path running along River Sarca starts in Villa and stretches all the way to Sant'Antonio di Mavignola.
In the deepest part of the gully, the valley merges with other three solitary long and wide sister-valleys: Vallina, Valletta Alta and Val Dossà. The latter boasts the Dosson bivouac, a rough/basic mountain hut at 2,300 m above sea level, beneath the Passo delle Vacche, a pass leading to Val Daone.
Local sport facilities also include trim trails/green gym, and pitches to play football, tennis and bowls.
