Summer
Beautiful sceneries and mild weather: Zuclo is the age-old centre of the Giudicarie
Zuclo boasts a lovely view over Busa di Tione basin and on the Adamello group. The borders with Tione and Bolbeno are defined by the Ridever and Rio Molina streams. The village is located on the right bank of the Sarca river at the base of Mount Pizza (1878 m a.s.l.), on the provincial road leading to Durone Pass (1039 m a.s.l.) - the ancient Roman road which used to be the only link with Lake Garda. Its position and natural environment featuring fir, larch and beech wide woods, give the village a typical Alpine character. It features plenty of hiking routes: multi-varied trails climbing up the mountains which offer panoramic views over the valley.
Zuclo is a town of Ancient Roman origin. In 1284, after the Longobard Age and the Verona Chapter Age, these lands passed under the Prince Bishop of Trento, who used to administer them until 1796, when Napoleon handed them over to Austria.
