Surrounded by a green park over 14 hectares large, Terme di Comano is a veritable natural oasis for relaxation and peace. The Spa is located in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites, in a salubrious area featuring a mild mid-mountain climate with pure air and surrounded by enchanting mountains and splendid nature parks.

WATER QUALITIES

Known since ancient Roman times, the Comano spring water is of the bicarbonate-calcium-magnesium type, with a constant temperature of 27°C at the source (in the dolostone of the Brenta Range), which is the highest temperature among the low mineral content waters to be found in Italy. Its pH is close to neutral and has an effective buffer effect on the skin's natural pH. This fluorine-rich water has soothing, cleansing, anti-inflammatory, kerato-plastic and itch-soothing properties. Its characteristics make it a valid natural therapy without side effects, even for babies (aged from 8 months up).

THERAPY INDICATIONS (WHAT CAN BE TREATED)
Terme di Comano Spa is specialized in the natural therapy of skin diseases, proven by many scientific medical studies:
• psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis (especially in children), seborrhoic dermatitis, allergy-generated dermatitis.
Terme di Comano also offer valid treatments for the following affections:
• respiratory system diseases: allergic rhinitis, laryngitis, chronic sinusitis and bronchitis, because of the proven anti-inflammatory effect of the water on the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract
• kidney and urinary diseases: calculosis, gravel, gout, hyperuricemia, dispepsia, constipation
• venous circulation disorders: varicose veins in lower limbs, peripheral vasculopathies, aftereffects of phlebopathies, venous insufficiency

• gynaecological disorders: vaginitis, adnexitis, leucorrhea, painful sclerosis of the pelvic connective tissue.

• thermal water baths for curing skin ailments
• photo-bath therapy, bath in thermal waters followed by exposure to narrow-band UVB rays for the treatment of psoriasis
• warm/humid inhalations, thermal water aerosol, micronized nasal showers and pulmonary ventilation for the treatment of respiratory tract ailments
• mineral water therapy, the drinking of thermal mineral water, beneficial for the urinary tract and the kidneys and for detoxinating the body
• vaginal irrigations, useful for gynaecological problems
• thermal water massages, useful for venous blood circulation problems
• corrective aesthetic dermatology, for the treatment of skin blemishes using laser technology
• aesthetic medicine and wellness centre.

WELLNESS CENTRE: THE WATER THAT REGENERATES

In the modern wellness area, body and face massages and treatments are performed by qualified personnel that is kept constantly up to date on the new trends in beauty treatments and trained to identify the right approach for every need or problem. All treatments are performed using the Salus per Aquam line of cosmetics. The centre offers a wide assortment of remise-en-forme treatments designed for an extensive range of requirements and proposed as long or short formulas, including weekend ones. The ComanoCare body and face treatments, that exploit the soothing, moisturizing and restructuring properties of Comano's thermal water, are exceptional.

FROM THERMAL WATER TO THE "SALUS PER AQUAM" LINE OF COSMETICS
A prestigious line that includes cosmetic products for cleansing, moisturizing and nourishing the skin and cosmeceuticals capable of restoring the normal skin functions in peoples affected by dermatological disorders. The products, made using generous quantities of natural ingredients in addition to Comano thermal water, are formulated in such a way as to protect the skin and preserve its elasticity, luminosity, resistance and balance. This production has recently been enriched with two new special lines of products - Dermapsor and Eudermica - that are free of fragrances, parabens, chemical preservatives, Vaseline or lanolin and are specific for the treatment of dermatitis and psoriasis.
