WHERE TO FIND US
The spa is located between the centre of Levico and the 1,500 m high town of Vetriolo, in the peaceful Upper Valsugana valley, surrounded by the Alpine lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo and by the vast and unexplored Lagorai mountain range. An uncontaminated alpine lake environment, with a pleasant mild climate, ideal for improving your mental and physical well-being.
WATER QUALITIES
The Acqua Forte (strong water) of Levico, unique in Italy and extremely rare throughout Europe, already known in the Middle Ages, springs at an altitude of over 1,500 metres asl from dolomitic limestone rocks, at a temperature of 9°C and with a highly acid pH. The spa water is rich in sulphates, arsenic and iron, components that have a sedative effect on the nervous system through an anti-oxidising mechanism. The water also contains other trace elements such as copper, manganese, nickel, cobalt and zinc.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS (WHAT CAN BE TREATED)
The arsenic and iron-rich water of Terme di Levico e Vetriolo is indicated for the treatment and prevention of:
• diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tracts: sinusitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, for both adults and children
• arthritis & rheumatic and locomotor disorders: arthrosis, rheumatisms, arthritis, osteoarthrosis and other degenerative diseases as well as the after-effects of fractures
• female genital diseases: pelvic pain, leucorrhoea, vaginitis, pelvic neuritis and nevralgia, female sterility
• skin diseases: dermatitis and psoriasis
• anxiety syndromes: neuroses, neurasthenia, neurodystonia
