The Terme di Pejo spa is located in the Stelvio National Park, in a salubrious Alpine valley, at 1,400 metres asl, dominated by the peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale massif. This is an area with many Alpine lakes, streams and waterfalls. The valley offers an endless amount of opportunities for holidaymakers in search of wellness and relaxation, with easy hiking and walking trails, trekking on foot and by mountain bike, nordic walking trails and other outdoor activities, for enjoying one of the most suggestive natural environments in Trentino.
WATER QUALITIES
The Pejo waters are known and have been appreciated since the 17th century. Originating from mountains and glaciers, the mineral waters spring from three sources and are ideal for water therapy. Each type of water features a different mixture of salts, ions and natural gases, with different beneficial effects:
• Fonte Alpina, the Alpine Source, produces water with an extremely low saline content, the regular use of which helps dissolve the metabolic waste inside our bodies, such as uric acids, "flushing" the urinary tract and getting rid of calculi and sand
• Antica Fonte, the Old Source, produces water with a medium mineral content, rich in carbon dioxide and iron, which, when used in drinking therapy treatments, is good for buffering stomach acids and regulating bowel movements, while in thermal water baths it has an intense anti-inflammatory action on the joints and the skin
• Nuova Fonte, the New Source, produces naturally sparkling water rich in calcium bicarbonate, magnesium and iron, which is good for the venous circulation, lymph flow and microcirculation and has an anticatarrhal effect, also working as a decongestant of the respiratory tract.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS AND TREATMENT S SUPPLIED
Pejo mineral water is excellent for naturally and effectively treating joint conditions and disorders of the venous circulation and lymph flow, as well as diseases of the skin, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal and urinary systems, with no side effects. Try our beneficial:
• carbonic gas bath: the mineral salts and gases dissolved in the water provide real relief against joint and muscle pain,
• phlebology bath: water stimulation promotes an intense revascularisation, thanks to which the liquids causing disorders of the venous circulation and lymph flow are drained away
• inhalation therapy: the microscopic particles of bicarbonate-rich mineral water come into contact with the respiratory mucosa and oppose any inflammatory process under way, whether of allergic or non-allergic origin
• drinking-water therapy: involves drinking specified amounts of each type of mineral water to rehydrate the body and help it get rid of the metabolic waste.

WELLNESS AT THE SPA
The new wellness area - where you can experience unique sensations - is built with warm, precious materials and occupies an entire floor. The hot zone offers the pleasure of a dry sauna, bio sauna, Roman bath and steam bath, while the moist area features whirlpool baths, a cervical cascade, a Kneipp stepping bath, an ice cascade, emotional showers and a Scottish shower. Relaxing moments can be enjoyed in environments with salt therapy, in rooms with chromotherapy, and in a sitting room with a tea corner, where a pleasant interlude in the company of others is assured.
The wellness centre is directly connected to a solarium area, a fitness area consisting of a gym with exercise machines and a gym for floor exercises, a swimming pool area, and an area reserved for massages and beauty treatments.
THE SPA'S LINE OF COSMETICS
The beauty products used at the spa exploit the soothing and hydrating properties of the mineral water from the Fonte Alpina source, combined with Alpine plant and herb extracts.
