4. Balter Azienda agricola

Azienda Agricola Balter stands on the gentle slopes of the Vallagarina valley, an area famous for its wines and castles, overlooked by a sixteenth century tower. Perched on the top of a hill, the winery looks out over the beautifully laid out vineyards belonging to important noble families surrounding it. A rustic, rural setting where wine is treated with great respect.

5. Bellaveder Azienda Agricola

Lying on the fan of Faedo, immediately above the land belonging to the San Michele all'Adige Agricultural Institute, the winery is in the heart of one of the most beautiful vineyards in Europe. Here wine has been produced only in recent years, although Maso Bellaveder has existed since 1780, showing that tradition is never completely lost. The medium compact, chalky, moderately deep and rich mineral soil, the climatic conditions characterised by wide fluctuations in temperature, the completely south, south-east exposure, offer the possibility of cultivating a variety of vines.

6. Cantina Aldeno

This is one of the oldest wine co-operatives in Trentino, situated on the lower hillsides of Monte Bondone where, according to botanists, vitis vinifera sylvestris (the wild ancestor of the Common Grape Vine) has always grown wild. A vocation reinforced over time by the climate and the characteristics of the soil in the Aldeno area.

8. Cantine Monfort

Monfort is the fascinating story of a project developed since 1945 by three generations to produce quality that is inextricably linked with the local land, three generations with a special love for lightly sparkling wines. And indeed the first Monfort label was actually a TRENTODOC. Today, Lorenzo Simoni and his family carry on their meticulous winemaking in one of the most characteristic settings in the old town centre of Lavis: Palazzo Monfort, once the residence of the Counts of Melchiori.

Making the most of what the land has to offer by cultivating it with passion was the inspiration behind Cantina Mori Colli Zugna, which was created when two long-standing Cooperatives merged. Its vineyards extend over the area that connects the Valle dell'Adige with Lake Garda. The vineyards are well ventilated, which particularly suits Chardonnay, an essential ingredient of TRENTODOC.
