Folgarida-Marilleva, Peio and Passo Tonale

Val di Sole, that extends between the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park, is a ski area with next generation lift systems and tracks designed for pure winter sports fun on the snow, on Brenta Dolimites, in Adamello between the Presena glacier and Tonale pass, among the majestic scenarios of the Ortles-Cevedale range in the uncontaminated Val di Pejo.
The large, fully equipped Folgarida and Marilleva ski area offers 53 km of tracks plus those connecting with Madonna di Campiglio, while the tracks at Pejo, in Stelvio National Park, are suitable for skiers of all levels. The area of the Presena glacier at an elevation of 3000 m a.s.l. ensures a long skiing season, while the Tonale pass ski area provides 60 km of downhill runs (100 km connected with the Pontedilegno-Temù ski area) forming the Adamello Ski carousel, a veritable paradise for downhill skiers and snowboarders. All of the ski areas of the valley are associated with the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta system.
The area also offers numerous facilities for cross-country skiing, a sport dear to the inhabitants of Val di Sole, along the 55 km of pistes and rings distributed in the various cross-country skiing centres existing in the valley. The alternative sports, such as ski-mountaineering, ice climbing, Nordic walking, snow shoe walks are equally enjoyable.
An efficient free skibus service interconnects the towns with the skilift stations leading to the ski areas, that also can be reached on the Dolomiti Express train (from Trento to Daolasa, allows ski loading).

New in winter 2010-2011: "PEJO 3000"
In Peio, a cable lift with two cable cars, connecting the Tarlenta area to the heart of the Ortles Cevedale mountain range at 3000 meters.

From December 2011: the new Madonna di Campiglio, Val Rendena and Val di Sole ski area opens, becoming the the largest in the entire Trentino region.
