Trento and Monte Bondone

Monte Bondone is located 15 km away from Trento and is easy to reach via the Brenner motorway. It offers 6 ski-lift systems and a modern artificial snow system guaranteeing a prolonged ski season on 21 km of ski runs associated with the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta ski pass. A fully-equipped cross-country ski centre is located on the Viote basin: it offers 35 km of tracks and up-to-date facilities in the rich Alpine vegetation of this greatly esteemed environment. It is associated with the Super Nordic Skipass.
The Monte Bondone ski area is quite versatile because, besides downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and ski-moutaineering on the beautiful Tre Cime track, it is also possible to enjoy excursions with snow shoes, ice skate, play curling, go sledding and even entertain children in the Vason Kindergarten and in the Viote cross-country centre.
This area is also a paradise for snowboard lovers; the Monte Bondone Snow Park has jumps, rails and snow cross facilities as well as the Olympic super half pipe which is 120 metres long and has 5 ½ metre high walls.
Monte Bondone is a spectacular natural terrace with a 360° view over the Brenta Dolomites and the Trentino mountains. Its history as a ski area dates back to 1934 when the first ski-lift system in the Trentino region was built there. It is the ideal holiday spot for families, ski clubs and all ski and winter sports lovers. It is easy to reach Monte Bondone from Trento by public transport and by ski bus.
