Val di Fassa

A district that features no less than 9 ski areas, 86 state-of-the-art uphill facilities, 115 ski slopes and an artificial snow system covering almost the entire district. Over 220 km of ski-runs link the Val di Fassa district and the ski areas in the valleys surrounding the Sella Group to the 500 km of slopes of the DolomitiSuperski. Two ski passes allow skiing everywhere: the Val di Fassa/Carezza pass is accepted on all uphill facilities from Canazei to Passo di Costalunga, while the Trevalli pass is valid in the Moena - Val di Fiemme area.
For skiers who want to spend the whole day skiing, the Val di Fassa offers theme routes touching several legendary peaks: the famous Sellaronda, the Panorama skitour, the World War One and the Three Valleys tour, or even the Tour of Emotions. But you can also skiing by night on floodlit ski-runs.
There are also 50 km of cross-country skiing trails at different elevations, from the valley floor to the 2,000 metres of Ciampac, including round circuits and sections of the Marcialonga trail. Snowboarders too can have plenty of fun here with the half pipes and rails. For families with kids, funparks, playgrounds in the snow and ski schools with expert staff are also available. Besides sports, a winter holiday in the Val di Fassa can also provide relax in the mountain huts, the opportunity to enjoy the local gastronomic specialties, to learn something about the Ladin culture, and to relax by experiencing treatments at the public and hotel-owned wellness centres.
