Val di Non

Val di Non features three skii area to offer great fun for winter sports lovers: cross-country and downhill skiing, ski-mountaineering and snowboarding. You will be given a number of occasions to enjoy tours on horse-drawn sleighs, or snow-shoe walks - very popular activities in Val di Non. You can also ice skate on Lake Smeraldo or at the Palaghiaccio ice arena in Fondo.
The ski area offers downhill skiing runs at Passo della Mendola on Monte Roen in the Campi di Golf locality; at Ruffrè-Mendola on Monte Nock and on the Predaia plateau, at Ciasazze (at all locations, the presence of snow on the slopes is guaranteed throughout the season). The thrill of skiing at night is offered by the Ruffrè slope with its night time lighting system.
The beautiful natural setting also features numerous routes for ski-mountaineering, particularly in the area of the Maddalene mountains.
The most popular places for cross-country skiing are the cross-country centre in Regole di Malosco, where trails meander across woods and glades, providing 10 km tracks at an average altitude of 1350 m a.s.l., and on Mount Predaia.
The Predaia Park and the Funny Park Nevelandia at Roen (Mendola Pass) provide fun for the entire family. You can learn to ski in a fairy-tale village featuring sleds and tubing tracks.
Make sure you do not miss the traditional "Ciaspolada" - the traditional snow-shoe walk, which is the main event of the Val di Non Epiphany celebrations.
