Madonna di Campiglio

With its noble history and charm, Madonna di Campiglio is known as the Pearl of the Dolomites and has been irresistibly attracting skiers for over 100 years. It has a fantastic ski area with 23 state-of-the-art ski lifts (5 gondolas with automatic coupling, 13 chairlifts, 5 ski lifts), linked to Folgarida-Marilleva as well as the Pinzolo ski area that was connected last year through the new Pinzolo-Campiglio Express gondola. The resulting skiing domain, the Campiglio-Val Rendena-Val di Sole Ski Area, includes a network 150 Km of slopes connected so that you need never take your skis off and covered by a single ski pass - the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta ski pass.

50,000 m2 of slopes and equipped jumps are set up at the Ursus Snowpark in Grostè while, on the Pradalago mountainside, a MiniPark is available for schools and beginners. In the 10 ski-schools, over 150 instructors offer their experience and knowledge about various techniques. You can also ice-skate on the small frozen lake of the Campiglio basin.
The Campo Carlo Magno Cross-country Centre features 22 km total routes, including trails reserved for school camp and trails reserved for competitions - the centre is part of the SuperNordicSkipass plan. The area features many different routes for hiking, snow-shoe walking or ski-mountaneering.
The town is famous for its high-society life, although visitors just need a-few-minute walk outside the town to be surrounded by a number of lakes, valleys and mountain-huts in the beautiful landscape offered by the Brenta Dolomites.
