At the cross-country skiing centre of San Martino di Castrozza, right next to the town, the 9 km of pistes are well groomed and maintained for both the classic and skating techniques.
The centre features three circuits, in the area of Prà delle Nasse, which wind their way in beautiful surroundings, amid forests and frozen streams; there's an easy track for beginners; a medium difficulty track suitable for everybody, across wide sun-drenched fields; and a more difficult track that runs through the Colfosco fir tree forests. The tracks are beaten daily and, if necessary, snow-making facilities back up the snow on the easy and medium level tracks. Two kilometres of tracks are floodlit for night skiing. There are also changing and equipment storage and rental facilities. The centre is a member of the SuperNordicSkipass, the only ski pass you need for the main Trentino and Italian cross-country skiing centres.
In the surroundings there are also many kilometres of beaten and signposted tracks for snowshoeing and ski excursions, besides nature fitness trails.
