ShareTrentino and the Italian Ice Sports Federation (F.I.S.G.)
Trentino is working with the Italian Ice Sports Federation (F.I.S.G.), in the long-track speed skating section, on a project that is part of a promotion strategy of the territory through the sports world. The agreement gives us an important opportunity to advertise Trentino nationally and internationally, also in strategic tourism markets like Holland, where skating is a national sport. The partnership provides for the presence of the Trentino logo on promotional instruments in the F.I.S.G. long-track speed skating sector, on the athletes' racing and warming up suits, besides their attendance at press conferences and marketing events. Testimonial of Trentino for this sports discipline is the Piné Olympic champion, Matteo Anesi.
All the winter resorts in Trentino have an ice skating rink or stadium, where it is possible to hire equipment. The flagship of these facilities is the Ice Rink of Baselga di Piné, the large and internationally known artificial ice stadium, which every year attracts a considerable number of tourists, as well as great champions participating in the international competitions, such as the Italian Championships, many World Cup trials and European ones, hosted in the stadium.
