WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Do you want to experience what it’s really like to be a shepherd? Has farm work always fascinated you? Would you like to drop everything and move to the mountains? Try spending a morning with our shepherd to see if high-altitude living is right for you! The sheep, the altitude, the smell of cut grass and freshly cut wood will be the setting for a true shepherd's experience that’ll take you far away from your daily grind for a fun adventure. You will be able to visit the Venetian Sawmill and understand its functioning and history. During the visit to the sawmill, our guide will help you create a small wooden object to take home as a souvenir. Don't miss the delicious finale with a tasting of cheeses from the Presanella Social Dairy.

Admire the sweeping panorama of the Brenta Dolomites and Adamello-Presanella mountain ranges. Take your camera with you or use your smartphone: the views over the Val di Sole are incredible from up here.
WHO ARE WE
Experience organized by the Mezzana Marilleva Consortium in collaboration with the Presanella Social Dairy and the 'L'Alveare' Association. The Presanella dairy cooperative collects the milk produced by farmers in the Upper Val di Sole. With care and dedication, it carefully and lovingly processes it into premium cheese, including Trentingrana, Nostrano, Casolèt della Val di Sole (Slow Food presidium) and ricotta, fully respecting nature and the age-old local cheesemaking traditions. The association 'L'Alveare' deals with multiple local entities including MMape, Fattore Legno, Bosco Derniga, and from this year also our Venetian Sawmill.
