Passo Rolle - Baita Segantini

A fantastic and very popular walk that goes from the Rolle Pass to Baita Segantini, undoubtedly one of the most visited destinations in the Dolomites.

The starting point is the Rolle Pass (1,984 m asl) near a large car park, located a few hundred metres from the pass on the east slope towards San Martino di Castrozza. An uphill dirt road starts from the car park, with easy hairpin bends that immediately lead to a first crossroads, where you take the forest road on the right towards the Capanna Cervino (2,084 m asl).

From the Capanna Cervino, the hike continues along the road/wide track. Then continuing along the dirt road, after a relatively flat section you arrive directly at the Baita Segantini (2,181 m asl), situated with its small lake at the head of the Val Venegia in front of the Pala Group.

The return to Baita Segantini retraces the outbound route, with the possibility to also follow the numerous trails towards the Rolle Pass.
