Nordic Combined & Ski Jumping World Cup
The FIS triptych in Val di Fiemme
Despite the hard time the whole world is going through, Val di Fiemme will host many important events in January: after the three days of the Tour de Ski, it will be the turn of the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup races, from January 15 to January 17.
The 2021 edition will be a very different one. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemics and the ongoing restrictions, all the World Cup races in Val di Fiemme will be held behind closed doors. A real shame, because the atmosphere will not be the same without the fans cheering at the Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo and along the tracks of the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero. However, the show will be 100% guaranteed on TV, as the World Cup races of Val di Fiemme have always been broadcasted live on Eurosport besides many other important international TVs.
The program includes two Individual Gundersen from the Normal Hill HS 104 with a 10 km cross-country ski race, and a Team sprint, again from the HS 104, with each team member competing for 7,5 km on the hard World Cup loop track at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero.
Once again, the best athletes of the Nordic Combined World Cup will compete at the Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo, which will soon be renovated for the Big Event: the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics!
